Get to Know Us
Glow Education Project is a Nottingham based, alternative education provision for 11 to 16 year olds.
We specialise in working with some of the most vulnerable young people across the city, including those who are; permanently excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream school, at risk of CCE and those identified as SEND learners.
Glow Education staff have over 14 years of teaching experience and fully qualified staff will deliver a range of accredited qualifications.
With various learning pathways available, Glow Education can provide your young person with a learning journey they can engage with.
Education to help you glow
We offer a diverse curriculum, designed to help young people glow and grow. We believe that learning should be accessible, functional and relevant and so offer young people a choice of learning pathways that are designed to reflect this.
At KS3, young people have the opportunity to access our 'engaging with learning' programme or 'Glow to GCSE' pathway. At KS4, young people will focus on gaining accredited qualifications in GCSE, Functional Skills or a combination of both.
Students in their final year will have access to an online qualification in a Life Skills Programme: Level 1 in Personal & Social Skills.
PSHE will be part of the curriculum for all students at both KS3 and KS4.
All students will have access to our 'Glow up' enrichment programme, giving them a choice of extra-curricular activities to engage and help them to develop beyond the classroom.
